Tila Tequila’s new girlfriend Courtenay Semel got a little rowdy and then supposedly hit a hotel security guard on the head while in Las Vegas. Wonder if she was just being crazy or if she had a shot or two of tequila. Oh!
Semel, 28, daughter of former Yahoo! CEO Terry Semel and star of E!’s Filthy Rich: Cattle Drive, was not arrested, but she must pay a fine or face a Las Vegas justice court judge.
Las Vegas Metro Police Officer Jay Rivera tells PEOPLE that Semel “struck a hotel security guard in the back of the head” during an altercation at 4 a.m. Wednesday.

Katherine Heigl got in trouble by a cop for littering. I know, in this politically correct world where everyone is trying to act all “green” it’s amazing the cop didn’t shoot her on sight.
After lunching with her mom at P.F. Chang’s in Santa Monica recently, the actress had to sweet-talk her way out of a ticket for tossing her cigarette on the ground right in front of a policeman on a bike.
“The officer told Katherine to pick up the butt and throw it away in the trash, 10 feet away,” the source says. “He added that he’d fine her next time he catches her tossing trash on the sidewalk.”

Gwen Stefani and her husband Gavin Rossdale gad kid number two. It’s a boy and they named him named Zuma Nesta Rock Rossdale. Wait, what? Zuma? Damn.
“Mother, baby and family are all happy and healthy,” the rep adds.

And finally, Miley Cyrus will be celebrating her sweet 16 and there’s no place better than Disneyland. I’m not sure we’ll see much about it, but we can probably count on Miley to take some cell phone pictures as usual.
According to ET, Disneyland is throwing the Hannah Montana star a lavish, “once-in-a-lifetime” birthday bash on Oct. 5. The private party will also include some deserving young people from Youth Service America, who’ve been making a difference in their communities.
Miley’s fans will also have the opportunity to join in as well! A limited number of $250 tickets to the event–”Miley’s Sweet 16–Share the Celebration,” go on sale on August 30 at 9 a.m.

Amanda Beard who’s an Olympic swimmer and model has a really strong reaction to the idea of her dating Michael Phelps. I guess what she’s trying to say in various terms is that he’s not very attractive. That’s my guess anyway.
“Eww, that’s nasty!” she said via telephone from Beijing on 93.7 KRQ Tucson’s Johnjay and Rich in the Morning.
“Come on, I have really good taste,” she added. “He’s not really my type.”
Beard — who has a boyfriend (a photographer) — said she has no clue how the rumors started.
“We don’t even talk to each other,” she said.

Jessica Simpson is now a beer company owner, since she’s getting a percentage in the company. I’ve never heard of Stampede Light Plus though. What’s the “plus” anyway? Isn’t the purpose of a light beer to have a minus? Why would they add it back in?
Now she’s adding beer to the table as well: it was announced today that she will be the new face of Stampede Light Plus, a beer marketed by Dallas’ Stampede Brewing Co. as a beer for active people.
She’ll appear in ads for the beverage and is also taking a 15 percent stake in the company. Jessica said in a statement that she’s ”always looking for ways to diversify my portfolio with good ideas and good people.”

Ricky Martin now has twin boys via surrogate. I’m not sure why he couldn’t just get a woman pregnant himself though. Oh wait…now I remember.
“The children, delivered via gestational surrogacy, are healthy and already under Ricky’s full-time care,” Ricky’s rep said in a statement. “Ricky is elated to begin this new chapter in his life as a parent and will be spending the remainder of the year out of the public spotlight in order to spend time with his children.”

Democratic Presidential nominee Barack Obama is about to be naming his running mate. This is important stuff folks because it’s about the future of our country. Get out and vote!
While the paper reports that Obama has yet to inform his prospective vice-president of the nod, the candidate’s focus is primarily on three men: Virginia Gov. Tim Kaine, Sen. Evan Bayh of Indiana and foreign policy expert Sen. Joseph Biden of Delaware.
The Times cited unnamed advisers to the Democratic hopeful as saying Obama had reached his decision last week while on vacation in Hawaii.

Heather Mills carries some notebooks as she heads out of her Soho House hotel in the Meatpacking District of New York with a female friend.
I wonder if people think more fondly of her now that her ex husband and former Beatle Sir Paul McCartney has written some warm lyrics about his strong feelings for her?
Some of the lyrics are as follows: “I was awakened by magic. I was alone in this world. Take me
away from here… [Though we are] worlds apart, we could climb every mountain, swim through every
sea. When all the world is asleep we could set ourselves free.”
A friend of Paul’s also explained to the London press the meaning of song, saying it indicates that Heather helped him get over the death of his wife and that he wished she would have been more truthful with him about her past. But now, he just feels sorry for her.
Oof, that’s gotta hurt. Sounds like Sir Paul could be a bit bitter, too.

Carla Bruni, the current wife of French president Nicolas Sarkozy, arrives at the Buddhist temple of Lerab Ling in Roqueredonde, France, on Friday, where she is welcomed by the Dalai Lama for the temple’s inauguration ceremony.
Upon her arrival the Dalai Lama presents Bruni with the typical white Tibetan scarf known as a khata.
Am I the only one finding the odd juxtaposition in this picture?
One figure is the spiritual leader of the Tibetan people and
experienced years in exile for asserting his religious and political
beliefs. The other is a ho former model who has slept with everyone from Eric Clapton to Donald Trump to Mick Jaggar (reportedly breaking up his marriage with Jerry Hall).

Uber hottie Megan Fox’s upcoming horror movie “Jennifer’s Body” is shaping up to be a sizzling hot fest, to say the least. How so you ask? How does Megan Fox topless and making out with girls sound to you? I know it sounds exactly like my last birthday wish. Here’s the skinny:
The ‘Transformers’ actress romps topless in bed with ‘Mamma Mia’ star Amanda Seyfried in zombie film ‘Jennifer’s Body’.
A source said: “The two girls make out hardcore, rolling around in a bed. It was a really hot scene.”
In ‘Jennifer’s Body’, Megan plays a possessed cheerleader who goes on a killing spree murdering her male classmates.
Megan recently hinted she would be sharing a passionate smooch with her co-star Amanda, revealing: “I eat and seduce everyone. There’s a lot of kissing everyone – boys and girls. All kinds of craziness.” (Source)
